USA Shooting Rifle, Pistol National Championships Set to Begin at Fort Benning
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The 13th Annual USA Shooting Rifle and Pistol National Championships will be held June 11-18 at Fort Benning’s International Shooting Complex in Columbus, Ga.

Nearly 300 rifle and pistol shooters from across the nation will compete in 14 events during the week-long National Championships conducted by USA Shooting, the National Governing Body for the Olympic Shooting Sports. The top finishers from this competition will be named to the National and National Development Team that represents the U.S. in National and International shooting competitions throughout the year. 

At 14 years of age Bill was the youngest competitor in the men's pistol competition.  It was his first trip to the nationals and he performed admirably.  He outscored two 19 year olds in the the last days finals but placed third in overall score and came away with the bronze which was presented my the USA international Rapid Fire coach.  Way to go Bill !
