One of our favorite Abaco Cays was Green Turtle. At Green Turtle we had lunch at Laura's Kitchen, visited the Albert Lowe Museum, visited the sculpture garden, Sid's groceries, Native Traditions, and stopped by New Plymouth Club and Inn. The Albert Lowe Museum was established in 1976 and was the first historical museum in the Bahamas. It houses artifacts of the Lucayan Indians who once inhabited the islands and exhibits of both past and present residents, such as ship models created by the late Albert Lowe and paintings by the well-known artist, Alton Lowe. The curators (the Robertson's), a husband and wife team were a charming couple that added much historical information to our visit.  Mr. Robertson was born in 1917 in the house next to the museum. This was the only day we had any rain during our trip as a couple of light showers passed through in the afternoon.
